Call to Action
1. Write in your journal, what are you waiting for in the season of Advent? What do you think the community is waiting for? How will you illuminate Christ light into spaces that need, Hope, Love, Peace and Joy?
2. As we enter the Christmas season, baby Jesus born in a manger, was crucified on the cross, rose on the third day with all power, ascended to heaven, left with us an advocate the Holy Spirit. But, that’s not the end of the story Jesus is coming back for his people. How are you living your life daily preparing for Christ’s return?
Pause and Pray
In this season of anticipation and preparation, God help me have the mind of Christ. Help me be more and more like you. Break my heart for what breaks your heart and give me the courage to do your will with the gifts you have giving me. Jesus if I don’t understand my gifts, open up opportunities for discovery, then God let me work, pray and fast, read scripture, and worship so that I do the work you call me to do on earth. It is so!
