She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

M.O.M. Bible Study

The M.O.M. Bible Study will resume their weekly study beginning Mon. Aug. 26 at 6PM in 204A.  The group will continue to meet every 2nd & 4th Monday each month.

The years of motherhood are paved with both tears of triumph and struggle. Our hearts and minds are tangled up in learning to love ourselves and these children God gifted us. We know who we were before kids, but who are we now? We may find ourselves overwhelmed, lonely and lost. The struggles are real, but we don’t have to face them alone.

Their new study Mom Struggles: A Mom’s Guide to Hope through the Challenges of Motherhood is offered on RightNow Media.  A workbook can be purchased from Amazon.

Women's Aspire Event

On Saturday, March 1st, the halls of Fair View were filled with over 160 women from various churches and communities who gathered in fellowship for Aspire Women's Events. That evening, we experienced three hours of Bible storytelling, worship, and comedy.
We began with the hilarious Kay Dodd, who shared her journey of growing in her relationship with God through some of the darkest moments of her life. Next, we were moved by the beautiful voice of Jamie Jamgochian, who shared the story behind her newest song, Our Father. She recalled how the song’s chorus came to her in a moment of desperation—crying out in the bathroom of the recording studio, pleading with God for the right words for such a powerful song. In that moment, she realized those words had already been given to us long ago when Jesus taught His followers how to pray. Barb Roose closed the evening with wisdom and encouragement, equipping us with tools to manage life's stressors while deepening our understanding of how God desires us to pray.
