HANDS & FEET MINISTRY
The United Methodist Men are taking up the call to care for the orphan, widows and all that are in need in our community. In efforts to do this, we are reaching out to the congregation and the community to hear from you, “How can we serve you?” Do you have medical needs of a ramp? Light bulbs changed? Yard work to be done or some other around the house job you need help with? Help us be a blessing to you and those in the community by letting us know if there is a need.
You can contact the church office, Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm or send a message here. Either way, The UMM Hands and Feet ministry will be in contact with you as soon as possible to help. Thank you for being a part of this ministry, and for allowing us to serve you and God.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:27 NRSV

Congratulations to Frank Knox
2024 Man of the Year
Frank Knox has shown a true measure of Christ-like generosity and hospitality.
Over his years of service to Fair View, he has served as an usher and Fair View Ambassador. Frank has always gone above and beyond to make people feel loved and welcome at the church. In the past, he helped start a first-connection ministry, which took the flowers to first time visitors, along with care packages, to connect people with the ministry and people of Fair View Church. His friendly nature does stop there. He is an ambassador for Christ and Fair View wherever he goes. Food Lion, Walmart or pumping gas at the local gas station. He genuinely cares for everyone and offers God's blessing to everyone he meets. Not only is he generous with his hospitality but with his act of faith. You will most often see him at any church event or service project he can get his hands on. Church work days, roadside pickups and volunteering at ministry partners. He also has been instrumental in the act of securing and site development of the Mitchell Mack Hospice House just down the road.
These ministries and service to the community are just another way Frank Knox is being honored as our spotlight Man of the Year for 2024.
