Call to Action:

Ask God each day in your daily prayer to open the door and provide strength and courage for you to form a close relationship with one person who is not like you. During Lent, form at least one close relationship with someone that you would not normally engage with.

 

Prayer:

Dear Lord, Thank you so much for the Lenten season. Thank you for the peace that 40 days in a desert can bring, but it can also be combined with challenges and struggles. That is what makes Lent such a powerful time. Allow us to approach you to learn more about you and to love you more so we can cross that street and love others...especially those who are not like us. In your most precious name, Amen.
