Series 4: When Life Gets Loud — Episode 1 of 6

Where has life felt the loudest for you lately? Be specific.

Is it work, family, relationships, internal thoughts, or something else?

What does "noise" look like in your life beyond actual sound? What forms of pressure are crowding your soul?

When you think about Elijah on the mountain, why do you think God chose to speak in a whisper rather than in the wind, earthquake, or fire? What might this tell us about God's nature and how He wants to communicate with us?

"Noise becomes a shield." Do you agree with this statement? In what ways might busyness or noise be protecting you from something you need to face?

What emotions or truths might be waiting for you in the silence? What has the noise been protecting you from?

The sermon asks: "What have you lost touch with because life has been too busy, too loud?" Share one thing you've lost connection with (it could be a spiritual practice, a relationship, a hobby, your own emotions, etc.).

Psalm 46:10 commands us to "be still." Why do you think this is a command rather than a suggestion? What makes stillness so challenging in our modern world?

"There is a quiet center within you, a place God hasn't lost track of." How does this statement land with you? Do you believe this about yourself?
